ABOUT ME

Raised in a small town in Ohio, number eight of nine children, I graduated from nursing school and worked as a registered nurse for many years. When I could no longer ignore the characters talking in my head (No, I'm not on medication), I went back to school and got a professional arts degree. Then I started my first novel.

As most writers will agree, raising a family and working a full-time day job is a challenge when you're trying to bring those characters to life.

Never being one to let a small thing like earning a living stop me, I quit my job and dedicated my energy to putting the stories on paper.

Little did I know the hard part had just begun! With two completed books and three in the early stages, I'm ready to take it to the next level. I am represented by Christine Witthohn, Book Cents Literary Agency, LLC.

A little back story. Having lived here over twenty years, I now call myself a Texan. My husband, Dan and I live thirty miles north of Dallas. We have two grown children and a large extended family that remains close.

Since I grew up with love and laughter, that's always been the type of book I read. If it can make me laugh or cry, I love it. If it can do both, I consider it a classic. I love romance, always have, always will. You must love it too, or you wouldn't have found my website. Thanks for stopping by. I invite you to stay with me on my journey to publication. It will happen!
